Shipping policy

Due to federal and state regulations, all mead shipments must be received by an adult 21 years of age or older. An adult must be physically present to sign for the mead delivery. Therefore we recommend that you ship to a business address. Federal regulations also make it illegal to ship mead to post office boxes. We cannot schedule shipments for a specific time during the day. If someone is not available to sign for the package, an additional shipping charge may be applied to redeliver.

By placing your order you have represented to Hiveworks Mead co. that you are at least 21. All alcoholic beverages that we ship on your behalf must be received and signed for by an adult of legal drinking age.

Please allow 2 to 3 business days to process all orders. If you need an order delivered immediately please contact us at info@hiveworksmead.com to make arrangements. All orders are sent via UPS Ground unless other wise noted at check out. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been processed confirming your estimated scheduled delivery date. Please note: UPS and Fedex orders do not ship out on Saturday or Sunday.

All meads delivered must be received (signed for) by an adult of legal drinking age. 

Availability

We are currently prohibited from shipping outside of California, but plan to add additional availability in the near future

Shipping and Handling Costs

The shipping costs are automatically calculated at the time the order is placed. If you would like to know the shipping cost to a particular area, please select your items and enter your zip code in the shopping cart. Prices of our meads do not include shipping/handling charges, which vary depending on destination, and number of packs ordered. SHIPPING CHARGES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE. 

Legal Disclaimer

The buyer assumes title of the meads once purchased. By arranging for transportation of the mead, we are providing a service to and acting on behalf of the purchaser. We make no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import any meads into any state. The buyer is solely responsible for the shipment of mead and other goods purchased and for determining the legality and the tax/duty consequences of having the mead shipped to him or her.
